The Chester Poling sits only fifteen hundred yards off of the Gloucester breakwater. The depth ranges from 70 to 90 fsw depending on the height of the tide and which portion of the wreck that one is exploring. With its close proximity to shore, and a reputation for good visibility, the Poling is a popular dive site. Be sure to get there early for the best visibility if photography/ video, or penetration is your intention. |
